TL;DR: catch your PM’s ear by keeping your message succinct and actionable.
Using alliteration and allegorical constructs to write things people remember is a useful strategy for a Substack. Here, we can talk about the Power of Bacon or Evil Waze and have some fun. Maybe we'll even get people talking. But if your goal is to communicate an investment idea, thesis, trading call or update, leave the Shakespeare at the door and write for clarity. This is where time to distill and decide can make or break a team’s success, so don’t fuck around. Make your points succinct. Connect them in the most obvious ways. Paint a picture that does not require interpretation. And keep it under 150 words if you want to make your point actionable.
